Good news

Assalamualaikum and hi..

My second semester has begun and I have some good news to share. Alhamdulillah I had received an admission offer to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities (UMN) ! UMN is located in the heart of Minneapolis and St. Paul. It is also one of the best schools for economics! Not only that, my housemate has also gained an admission to the same university as me. At least I have somebody to take care of me  (like a support system) while I am (gonna be) away from home. But seriously I didn't expect the application results to come out somewhat earlier than the expected date that was stated on the website (31/3/2017). On the 5th February right after Subuh prayer, I kinda wanted to check my application status to the UMN (macam dapat hidayah gitu). MasyaAllah I can't describe my feelings at that time. I was so happy and excited. I can't stop myself from watching videos on youtube about the UMN everyday! I do really hope and pray that all my scholarmates would pass our sponsor's requirement to fly this August, insyaAllah.

So how's my second semester so far? Much better. No more SAT, TOEFL, supplementary essays, university applications etc. Now I only have three days (tuesday, wednesday and thursday) of classes. That means I have a long weekend every week. Currently, I am taking Macroeconomics, Statistics and Introduction to Music for this semester. I can't believe that I enrolled in music class and now it becomes my killer subject! But hey this is just an "introduction" to Music and it meant for the students who are interested in music with no musical background. The killer part is when we have two performances to be presented and graded throughout the semester. Alhamdulillah I'm so grateful for having such a wonderful friend (Wan Auni Kamilah) who are willing to help me in this course. May Allah bless her.

I think that's all for now. Thank you.
